Rameshni & Associates Technology & Engineering (RATE) offers Licensing technologies for mercaptan removal as known as RATE Oximer Technology.

“RATE-Oximer” Process is developed by RATE to remove the mercaptan from the liquid and vapor phases to meet the sulphur emission specifications. “RATE-Oximer” is an oxidative air based regeneration process. This technology has been implemented and it is in operation.
The principle of the process is to use dilute caustic to absorb the mercaptan from the feed stream and then using air over the Liquid Sulfonated Cobalt Phthalocyanine Catalyst in the oxidizer reactor to regenerate the caustic.
